CHALLENGEBLED is still scheduled to take place in the weekend of September 19th and 20th. At the moment we’re very busy making protocols on how to organise the event during this COVID-19 time. We are working closely with the local authorities, and we’re looking forward to welcome you all in Slovenia coming September.
The inaugural CHALLENGEBLED will be one for the entire family. There will be events for everyone, with a Sprint Distance, Sprint Aquabike and Aquathlon, for both kids and adults, on Saturday and an Aquabike, Middle Distance triathlon and Relay race on Sunday. You can find the full race schedule on our website.
ETU European Championship cancelled
Due to overriding concerns about financial implications, coupled with the fear and uncertainty of a possible second wave of the virus the Slovenian Triathlon Federation have taken the difficult decision to cancel the European Championship races. As CHALLENGEBLED we saw an opportunity to bring you, all the European athletes, your European Championship you were all waiting for. We did everything within our power to make this happen. However, we understand the decision the Slovenian Triathlon Federation made and we’ll continue to focus on all the open races, which are still scheduled to take place. We want to thank the ETU for their benevolence and their attitude, doing everything to give the athletes their championships.
The cancellation of the European Championships means that we have to reschedule. The evening run and the morning swim are cancelled therefore. All participants who were registered for these side-events will get a refund.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to celebrate the sport of triathlon in Bled. See you on September 19th and 20th 2020!
