Description of the race course:
The start of swimming will take place at the Velika Zaka. Rowing finish area and athletes will swim around the fameous Bled island with the church. Swimming in drinkable, crystal-clear waters with a temperature between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius will definitely be an excellent warm up for a dynamic bicycle part from Bled Lake to the next gem of Slovenian tourism, Bohinj Lake and then through the centuries-old forests of the Triglav National Park on Pokljuka plateau to the World cup Biathlon Center.
From Pokljuka bikers will ride down the descent to the village of Gorje and then turn to the Bled rowing center Mala Zaka. The cycling course offers around 1100 altitude meters, with beautifull views to the Julian Alps. The running track is completely routed along the coast of Lake Bled, in three circles. Nice relaxed with an extraordinary backdrop of the mountains, the castle and the Bled island with the church.
